A Little Vegan Inspired Reading

Any changes in a person's diet or lifestyle, whether it be big or small, should always be accompanied by new knowledge.

When it comes to de-meatifying recipes, I've never really had a problem coming up with something new, but sometimes I find myself facing a creative block when it comes to preparing meals. I've caught myself literally buying the same foods every time I grocery shop, and making basically the same meals each day. (How boring!)

So today, I ventured out to the book store, and picked up a few books! I got a couple books that focus mainly on recipes with some great information on food and veganism, and I also picked up a few by Brendan Brazier (the formulator of Vega) that focus on fitness, nutrition, and overall health & wellness. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited about reading these, and leafing through the recipe books to gain inspiration and try new things! I started reading Whole Foods To Thrive on my way home, and I got so wrapped up in the content that I almost missed my stop on the street car!

Once I've gotten through both books, and tried recipes from all four of them, I'll be posting full reviews. (I'll even post a few of my experiences with the recipes prior to finishing the books!)

So now, I leave you all with an image of the four books I grabbed!
