In a bit of a sleepy state, I poured a cup of coconut water into my smoothie cup instead of almond milk. I decided to go with it, and I'm happy I did! So here's my smoothie recipe for today! :) It'll get ya going! ;)
Today's Smoothie - Mocha Madness!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup coconut water (100% coconut water, not that stuff with the "pulp and sugar" added in!)
- 1 frozen banana, cut into chunks
- 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use Vega chocolate performance protein in my smoothies!)
- 1 tbsp shelled hemp hearts
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 2 tsp espresso powder
- Cinnamon to sprinkle on top of the finished smoothie
Method:
- Blend all, pour, sprinkle with cinnamon, drink, be energized and happy! :)
