P90X - Week 1 - Day 7

Doneskie!

I'm happy to say that I just finished Kenpo-X. I'm in pain, I'm sweaty, a little dizzy, and I almost threw up a few times... (Don't eat for at least 2 hours before Kenpo-X! I waited an hour, but it wasn't enough.)... But I'm done!

*does a happy dance*

Tomorrow marks the beginning of Week 2. Can't wait!

Some thoughts about this past week:

It's really easy to find excuses to NOT work out. There's so much in life that gets in the way... But the feeling of actually doing it, and completing that mini-goal you set for yourself each day to just "get through this one", is amazing.
I know I have a long way to go in order to reach my greater goals, but every day I take pride in knowing that I've accomplished at least one thing that keeps me on the path to achieving that big goal. That feeling is what keeps me going on the days where I find myself thinking "who gives a s**t, just go get some chips and watch TV", or when I'm down on myself and focusing too much on comparing myself to other people.
Keeping a clear, positive, and motivated mind while patting yourself on the back for each step you take in the right direction is a great way to reach success (in my opinion).

As an aside - this can be applied to any aspect of your life... But that's for a whole other post, or blog... :)

That's all for tonight... Time to quickly wash my dishes, and then hit the hay!
