Today's Smoothie - Pudding Cup

Yes, you read the title correctly. Pudding Cup.
This is probably one of the richest, and most decadent smoothies I've made. It's also now made it into my top 3 smoothies in the smoothie rotation. (I really, really love smoothies.)

I can't really say much more about this, aside from: you need to try this. It's healthy. It's rich. It's delicious. Here's the recipe:

Today's Smoothie - Pudding Cup

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 large avocado (or 1 small avocado), very ripe! 
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 heaping tsp ground cinnamon
  • Very light pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tsp maca powder (optional, but I love the taste of this stuff)
  • 1 tsp agave nectar (or sweetener of your choice)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    • Mix these above ingredients together really well in a bowl, then scoop it into your blender, or whatever you make your smoothies in. I use a stick-blender, so I just toss this into the jar...
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 scoop protein of your choice (for this, I used 1 scoop of the vanilla SunWarrior raw protein)
  • 3/4 - 1 cup frozen strawberries
Method
  • Blend the "pudding" with the rest of the ingredients, and enjoy! :) This is a very thick smoothie, so you can thin it out if you like with more liquid, but I suggest drinking it as is. ;) It's great!
