1-2-3 Chocolate-Banana Coconut Milk

I got home last night, and realized that I had run out of both coconut and almond milk. I didn't want to go back out (yesterday was a disaster in terms of crowds and "interesting people" on the TTC, and I was in a less-than-perky mood), so I decided to whip something up!

I wanted more than just a basic flavoured milk (and didn't have vanilla extract to make vanilla flavoured stuff), so here's what I came up with! :) I drank some last night as-is, and this morning used some with my protein powder for my mid-morning snack.

1-2-3 Chocolate-Banana Coconut Milk

Ingredients:
  • 2-3 cups filtered water (use more for a thinner consistency or less for a thicker consistency)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 3 tbsp creamed coconut
  • Agave (or other sweetener) to taste

Method:
  • Blend all, chill, and enjoy! :) Simple as that!

This will keep for a few days in the fridge, just make sure to give it a good stir before drinking it. There will be gritty pieces of coconut, but that's okay! If you don't like it, you can easily strain the milk with a nut-milk bag or strainer.
