I wanted more than just a basic flavoured milk (and didn't have vanilla extract to make vanilla flavoured stuff), so here's what I came up with! :) I drank some last night as-is, and this morning used some with my protein powder for my mid-morning snack.
1-2-3 Chocolate-Banana Coconut Milk
Ingredients:
- 2-3 cups filtered water (use more for a thinner consistency or less for a thicker consistency)
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 3 tbsp creamed coconut
- Agave (or other sweetener) to taste
Method:
- Blend all, chill, and enjoy! :) Simple as that!
This will keep for a few days in the fridge, just make sure to give it a good stir before drinking it. There will be gritty pieces of coconut, but that's okay! If you don't like it, you can easily strain the milk with a nut-milk bag or strainer.
