Day 2 of Juice Cleanse

Thoughts:
My alarm went off, and I'm up. I was tired for about 3 seconds, but I'm awake now. Normally it takes me a while to even acknowledge the alarm, and then I'm half asleep until I get to work.
I still may get a bit more sleep though... Snooze time! Then it's back up to make some juice for my day! Feeling positive this morning!
Physical:
Still a bit of a headache. Definitely not as bad as yesterday. My body is more sore than it normally would be from working out. I'm going to try to hit up the gym again today though. Have to remember some spirulina and an extra juice bottle...
Weird Dream:
I was at some event with a lot of people, and had this huge white monster with a tail (it actually looked like a massive piece of daikon) come out of my stomach. Not quite throwing it up, but as if it were in my stomach, and trying to come out of my body. Very random! I'm sure it had something to so with my mind thinking about ridding my body of things during this cleanse, but how creepy is that?! Our minds are funny, and our dreams can be so strange...

Drinking some lemon water
On the menu for today:
-strawberry papaya juice
-beet orange juice
-sweet potato apple juice (with cinnamon and nutmeg!)
-tomato radish juice (not looking forward to this one...)
-green juice (apple, celery, spinach, lemon, cucumber, 2 tsp spirulina)
Thoughts:
Feeling a lot better today, headache is barely there. My sense of smell is off the charts though! Either that, or the woman sitting on my bus in front of me drenched herself in baby powder and cheap perfume...
One thing I noticed last night was that every sound I was hearing was amplified. Not necessarily in a bad way, but just that things sounded more clear. I'm noticing it this morning as well. Could just be in my head though. :)

This is yummy, but I'm hungry. Sort of. More of a mental thing, though. It's funny how that works...

Thoughts:
One of my coworkers is eating re-heated fried chicken wings. They. Smell. Amazing.
I'm a vegan. I don't eat chicken. I don't even really like meat. I also don't eat soy (I get an allergic reaction to soy), so getting soy chicken drumsticks is out of the question. Maybe I'll get some at King's Café anyways... After the cleanse is done. This weekend.
OMG I'm hungry. Must drink the juice! Why am I doing this again?!
*sigh*

Seriously - my favourite drink of the day. This is like a dessert or something. Very thick juice, very tasty. I'd drink it all day if I could...

Thoughts:
If today is day 2 of 3, does that mean that tomorrow is my last day of this 3 day thing? Yay!
I don't really feel "cleansed" or euphoric or anything. I just feel a bit tired now, and the headache is coming back. I'm peeing a lot, and that's pretty much it.
I think tonight I might put some chia seeds in water to make a "pudding". Is that going against the cleanse? I know some people will say yes, but these cleanses are different for every person and we should all do what feels right for or own bodies. Hmm...
I'll probably skip on the chia seed pudding, but I don't know.
Learning A Bit About My Body:
1. Drinking more water is good, I'll definitely keep this up.
2. Raw food always gives me more energy. I'm going to stick with the majority of my foods being raw.
3. I still like juicing vegetables. I want to eat them mostly, but I plan on keeping 1-2 meals per day of juice. (I usually eat 6 small meals per day.)
4. I had a great sleep last night. I need to try to eat less closer to bed time, because my body felt very well rested after going to sleep on an emptier stomach.

I think that tomorrow, for Day 3, I might just do juicing for most of the day, but then put the raw fruit and veggies back into my diet. Then do a longer raw diet for a couple days...

...Not bad. Not bad at all. Strong, but oddly satisfying...

Oh jeeze, this is disgusting. Not doing THAT mixture ever again. Unless it's for someone I strongly dislike.

Thoughts:
Ok... I just ate 3 almonds. It feels like this was the first time I've ever had an almond, it was so full of flavour! This is so weird - my taste buds are making everything taste so vibrant today. All the juices I've had, I can taste almost every ingredient. Cool!
Now I want food even more, great.

Thoughts:
Okay, so the 100% juice cleanse isn't quite 100%... My body just wasn't taking to it, not for more than a day right now at least. I think I'll take the advice of many blogs and websites stating that it's best to do the cleanse during a time you can stay home. I can see myself doing a one-day-per-week juice cleanse... I can see myself doing a 3-day juice cleanse if I start on a Friday... But I did this wrong by starting on a Monday.
The hour and a bit commute to and back from work on the TTC was even worse... I was hungry, tired, bad headache, and grumpy... I also couldn't focus on anything at work. Not the best of situations.
Anyways, I don't feel like I've failed. I actually feel pretty great. And I've also decided to go 100% raw (except for quinoa maybe?) for the rest of the week until I get to the Vegan Bake-Off on Saturday.
Oh yeah - tonight I had half of my green juice (gave the other half to Richard), a smoothie (banana, water, cacao powder, hemp protein), a tbsp of dried goji berries, a square of 90% dark chocolate (oh no!!), and a tbsp of peanut butter (eep...!).
Tomorrow, I'll ease myself back into solids.
