Today’s green smoothie is more like a green pudding than a smoothie, but I’m not complaining! I couldn’t quite get a good picture of it in the office while drinking [eating?] it, so you’ll have to settle for my Instagram version of it. ;)
It’s got a few interesting ingredients that I’ve started using more regularly, and the flavour is surprisingly light and sweet. So here you go!
Raw Green Pudding Smoothie
Ingredients:
· 1 cup water
· 1-2 frozen bananas
· 3 tsp spirulina
· 2 tbsp raw hemp protein [the stuff I use is non-flavoured, it just has raw hemp protein. Tastes pretty good, too!]
· 1 heaping tbsp ground chia seed
· 1 ½ tsp vanilla bean powder
· 1 tbsp coconut butter
Method:
· Blend, mix, and let sit for about half an hour in the fridge. Then grab a spoon, and drink/eat, and enjoy!
